Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d)
Your Team
In this role, you’ll support our team in developing and extending our data processing pipeline, which processes over five billion requests per day. In doing so, you will be supported by a scalable server infrastructure and a team of highly talented developers. Most importantly, you’ll have room to bring your own individual solutions to the table and impact our product.
Role & Responsibilities
We aim to build an intelligent and automated system to run our marketing campaigns, optimize our websites and be more efficient in every aspect of our daily work. You will implement new features and optimize the overall performance of our websites and campaigns. You will work in a small team with a clear focus and meet your colleagues with a supportive and open attitude.
What you will bring to the team
- You are passionate about logic, automation and algorithms
- You are keen on expanding your skills with new technologies
- Good understanding of the fundamental principles in building performant, scalable systems
- You are fluent in backend & frontend technologies
Requirements
- You have experience with PHP, Python, GO, or Ruby – you understand how it works and are able to realize a feature from the backend to the browser…
- You have 3 years of experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
- You are comfortable with Git and Github – you are able to create clean PR that can be easily tested and reviewed by peers
- Experience with Amazon AWS
- Experience in writing and maintaining web services, API design
- Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL at an advanced level (complex queries, query optimization)
- Experience in writing integration tests, unit tests and testable code
- Strong theoretical background in OOP and understanding modern design patterns
